About our Owner/Chief Event Organizer

Carrie Benjamin

Carrie Benjamin, a Bay Area native from Los Gatos, has a journey that is as inspiring as it is impressive. Her educational path led her through Van Meter Elementary, Fisher Middle School, and Los Gatos High. She then ventured to the University of Oregon, embracing the spirit of the "Go Ducks!" She interned for an Oregon Congressman in Washington, D.C., before graduating with a major in communications.

Carrie's career path led her to the bustling streets of Hollywood, where she spent five years in the television and film industry, contributing to renowned productions such as Warner Brothers' "Charmed," the reality series "Big Brother," HBO's "Big Love," and Jim Carrey's "Lemony Snicket."

Carrie's career has been marked by significant contributions. As the Director of Events for the San Jose Sports Authority for 17 years, she spearheaded major events like the USA Gymnastics Championships, Olympic Trials for USA figure skating, NCAA Basketball tournament, and Tour of California cycling. Her tenure involved extensive fundraising efforts and meticulous event planning and execution, leaving a lasting impact on the sports community. She is currently the Development Manager for Yavneh Day School in Los Gatos, and the owner of CBEN Events. 

Beyond her professional achievements, Carrie has completed a marathon, explored Europe, and even had the honor of meeting the President of the United States. The CBEN Mission Statement brings your dreams to life through meticulously planned and seamlessly executed experiences.
